You're never going to believe this (I don't myself)! I have my CD changer on random play, shuffling through the CD's I've left in there over the past week or so, and the minute I opened this message and typed "Thot for the evening", Return to Pooh Corner comes on! What better for putting me in the mood to write a Thot? Btw, is anybody out there? Haven't seen any posts in days! Well, since a few people asked me to (really nicely) I'll do a couple more quizzes just for extra measure. But if I don't get more than one response, then ixnay. I'm on such an emotional high after watching the closing ceremonies that I won't come down for quite a while. The memories of these Olympics are going to be with me for quite some time. In fact the following excerpt from In Which Piglet Meets a Heffalump pretty well describes the mood I'll be in for the next couple of days... Then they all talked about something else, until it was time for Pooh and Piglet to go home together. At first as they stumped along the path which edged the Hundred Acre Wood, they didn't say much to each other, but when they came to the stream and had helped each other across the stepping stones, and were able to walk side by side again over the heather, they began to talk in a friendly way about this and that, and Piglet said, "If you see what I mean, Pooh," and Pooh said, "It's just what I think myself, Piglet," and Piglet said, "But, on the other hand, Pooh, we must remember," and Pooh said, "Quite true, Piglet, although I had forgotten it for the moment." Have a great night and a good week. ______ ______ _________________________________________________ / ____ \| __ \ | | \_| |__| | "It's Christopher Robin," he said. | | _| ___ / "Ah, then you'll be all right," said Piglet. | |___/ | | \ \ "You'll be quite safe with him..." \______/|_| \_\_________________________________________________
