I had to leave work early today because I feel so crappy. So, since Robin stood in last night and I don't want to impose upon her two nights in a row, Eeyore is going to be filling in for me tonight with several of his more notable bits of wisdom... "Sometimes," said Eeyore, "when people have quite finished taking a person's house, there are one or two bits which they don't want and are rather glad for the person to take back, if you know what I mean." "We can't all, and some of us don't. That's all there is to it." "Bouncy or coffy, it's all the same at the bottom of the river." "It don't do them any Good, you know, sitting on them," he went on, and he looked up munching. "Takes all the Life out of them. Remember that another time, all of you. A little Consideration, a little Thought for Others, makes all the difference." "They don't think--that's what's the matter with some of these others. They've no imagination. A tail isn't a tail the them, it's just a Little Bit Extra at the back." "If you're standing on the slippery bank of a river, and somebody BOUNCES you loudly from behind, you slip." "It's much better than mine," said Roger admiringly, and he really thought it was. "Well," explained Eeyore modestly, "it was meant to be."
