Nobody seemed to know where he came from, but there he was in the Forest: Andrew
James. When Peter asked Christopher Robin, "How did he come here?" Christopher
Robin said, "In the Usual Way, if you know what I mean, Peter," and Peter, who
didn't, said "Oh!" Then he nodded his head twice and said, "In the Usual Way.
Ah!" Then he went to call upon his good friend Glenda to see what she thought
about it. And at Glenda's house he found Betsy. So they all talked about it
together.
     "What I don't like about it is this," said Betsy. "Here are we-you,
Peter, and you, Glenda, and Me-and suddenly--"
     "And Jo Ann," said Peter.
     "And Jo Ann-and then suddenly--"
     "And Nicolette," said Peter.
     "And Nicolette-and then all of a sudden--"
     "Oh, and Jo Ann," said Peter. "I was forgetting her."
     "Here-we-are," said Betsy very slowly and carefully, "all-of-us,  and then,
suddenly, we wake up one morning and, what do we find? We find a Strange Animal
among us..."
